Stale, spoiled or expired foods. By appropriate ecological disposing waste obtains a value and can be transformed into usable energy. This waste often ends up in landfills or in waste incinerators. Not only it is waste of energy but also violation of European legislation, which leads to high fines. 1 ton of food waste can be in biogas plants turned into 1.2 MWh of electric energy on average. Thanks to this process waste becomes ecological energy source. Storing or incinerating the waste is not beneficial and heavily affects the environment.
